Product Info:
At the beginning of the 20th century Vienna was famous for its »Kaffeehäuser«, where small chamber orchestras performed classical music. Klaus Buchner, Sven Götz, and Christian Ammann, three accomplished musicians from Southwest Germany, were inspired by this tradition and founded the CAFéHAUSTRIO, an ensemble determined to play the modern version of coffee house music. Since 2005 they had numerous well-acclaimed performances, and their first album »Mélange« with its mixture of timeless jazz standards and famous pop songs became an audience's favorite.

The songs on their new album »Cruising«, tastefully arranged and orchestrated, are inspired by imaginary places all over the world, like Caribbean beaches, the American Highway to Heaven, and endless Scandinavian forests. With the pure, acoustic sounds of saxophone, guitar, upright bass, percussion, and the beautiful voice of Norwegian singer/violinist Liv Solveig, the CAFéHAUSTRIO adds its own flavor to contemporary music.

They perform famous pophits, timeless jazzstandards and musical jewels from Latin America in a relaxed, sophisticated and elegant manner - of course completely acoustic. The combination of saxophone, guitar and double bass fits perfectly to our music, but for big events or on certain demand we'll as well be having special guests, such as a singer or a violinist.

The Caféhaustrio will offer you and your guests an unforgettable evening with beautiful music, no matter if we're acting in the spotlight on stage or just somewhere in the background, at a big event or just a small private party. And if there'll be invented a time-machine after all, we'll be flying back to the year 1899 first, bringing our instruments with us. And we're sure, the guests in the coffeehouses then would be delighted about our music.
