It is not for nothing that the pianist Axel Schwintzer called his new album "Anecdotal Evidence", actually a paradox of the vague vagueness of anecdotes and the legal precision of evidence. In any case, the music contained on it impressively demonstrates his skills as a musical storyteller. Even if he assures that titles like “Doppelgänger” or “Above & Beyond” do not refer to autobiographical anecdotes: from the gospel piano introduction in “Virtuos Cycle” to the reggae episode in “Alter Ego” to the contemplative “Silver Lining”. « he reports on the world in a variety of ways in melodies, suspense, rhythms (and sometimes between the lines) «» and as you listen, you want to agree with him: »I've seen/heard/felt that exactly!
